Mr. Hansen began his career as an investor in the real estate industry in the early 1990’s while attending the University of Utah and playing basketball for Rick Majerus and the running Utes.  He began acquiring, restoring, and selling real estate simply as a way to supplement an athletic scholarship, but it soon became his passion.   He currently is the General Partner of HFI LP, a diversified investment partnership that he founded and managed since 2005.  With a personal investment into the partnership he grew the assets of the company from $500K to more than $9M over 6 short years.  For more than 25 years he has been personally involved in the acquisition, building, restoration, and sale of more than 102 properties ranging from undeveloped raw land, to single family residences, to multi-family properties to class A and B office buildings.   He has successfully raised and managed in excess of $150M for various business ventures over the last 10 years.
